Self-hosted or managed

Totenvis is designed to run either way: installed on your own infrastructure, or operated for you by the vendor. Plans and billing for both are on the roadmap and not yet available.

Planned

Self-hosted

Run Totenvis on your own infrastructure — a single binary and a Postgres/Timescale database, with a Helm chart and container images for Kubernetes deployments. You hold the data and the credentials Totenvis uses to discover your network.

Planned

Managed

The vendor operates the install for you. A master Totenvis instance tracks managed customers and receives their proposals so the vendor can act on them; support can route to the vendor's team or your own, depending on how the install is configured.

Packaging, plans and entitlements are still being built. Today, Totenvis is a self-hosted product you build and run from the product repository — there is no packaged self-hosted release or managed offering yet.
